SRE CP7 Drainage & Earthworks Framework – That’s a Wrap for 2025

Suttle Projects has successfully closed out a busy year on the CP7 Minor Works Drainage & Earthworks Framework for the Network Rail Southern Renewals Enterprise.

The Network Rail Southern network covers 3,300 miles of railway and Suttle Projects have undertaken 44 projects within this vast geographical region during 2025. Covering schemes across various project phases from walk through inspections, design reviews, permanent and temporary works designs, project planning and project delivery.

Emergency response work has included projects at Yeovil Penn Mill South, Eggpie Lane Colhayne, Fordmill Road and Leigh Road, Hildenborough. Suttle Projects In-house design team has completed permanent works designs for Bowerlands Farm and Ash Cutting and Dinton Business Park alongside numerous design reviews and temporary works designs.

Suttle Projects Framework Manager Ricardo Leite commented:

“The framework has demanded a wide variety of project interventions. These can vary from walk through surveys, preventative embankment and cutting work, netting maintenance, culvert repairs, new drainage systems, tree root work, scour protection, pipe removal and debris clearance.

No matter how small or how complex the project our approach is always the same. To simplify every element as much as we possibly can through meticulous up-front attention to detail, buildable designs, and clear communications throughout planning, execution and handover.

As we go into 2026, we will continue to strive to continually improve the efficiency of how we work, remove potential risk and play our part in ensuring the reliability and the resilience of the railway for passengers.”
